This is a beautiful occasional table dating back to the early 20th Century. Made from oak accentuated with elegant barley twist legs, it has a one handle drawer which boasts dovetail joints, a true reflection of the age and quality craftmanship of this piece.
The top has been stripped back to its natural finish and protected with layer of clear finishing wax to reveal the natural beauty of the wood. The legs have been carefully prepared and painted with ‘Hessian’ chalk paint to give a contemporary look before being carefully waxed to preserve the look of the piece. In contrast, the drawer front has been painted with ‘Portobello Cream’ satin paint to give a soft sheen. A crystal knob completes the updated appearance of this console table.
This table is a stunning statement piece and it would be an asset to any hallway, living room, dining room, bedroom or kitchen.
